Join Natalie in the December holidays for a family photo walk around Bur Dubai!

We would love to share our knowledge of the Bur Dubai area with your children + you. Natalie has been photo walking and photographing this area since 2016 so makes the perfect guide.

It's a wonderful family day out for photography lovers with an adventurous spirit!
spice souk photo walk
During our guided group photo walk to the spice souk, we will meet at the creek where we will focus on capturing landscape shots and get warmed up with some reminders on composition, perspective and light.
We'll cross over the creek by abra - a wonderful experience with the opportunity to capture wide scenes as well as detailed shots of the abra itself.

On arrival at the spice souk, you'll be given a 'photo treasure hunt' to compete in your family groups! You'll be tasked with capturing as many 'treasures' as you can and of course will receive help and guidance from Natalie along the way.
​
Before heading to our final spot, we will visit the Iranian transport boats that line the creek where your family will be challenged to document a story (top secret!).
​
Our final stopping point will be to capture the peacefulness of sunset from a unique vantage point where our photographers will have the opportunity to capture some beautiful sunset scenes across the creek.
​
In each location you will receive mini photo challenges from Natalie, to help focus your minds and images. You will come home come home with a wonderful variety of images from your afternoon of photo walking!

Pricing:
Family of 2 = 250 dhs
Family of 3 = 360 dhs
Family of 4 = 460 dhs
Additional family members = 125 dhs each

Meeting point: will be in the Bur Dubai area, location TBC upon confirmation of your space. We would advise taking a taxi to the meeting point as car parking in the area is very limited.

who is it suitable for?
Our photowalks are suitable for children aged 8+ who have either been doing our classes already or who are complete beginners! As most of you have one camera per family, you'll be working together in your family groups to capture a mixture of camera and phone shots. The photo walk is suitable for children and their parents even with little or no camera knowledge.

Notes:
- this is an adult + child activity, children under 18 joining on their own is not an option
- photowalks are done on foot, so wear trainers and be prepared for lots of walking! We will take breaks during our walk and find somewhere to sit down to regain our energy.
- group numbers will be capped at 12 (as ideally we want to photowalk as a small group)
terms + conditions
We understand that plans might change! If you cancel your photo walk booking 7 days before your photo walk, you will be issued a refund or you can reschedule to a future date. If you cancel your photo walk 2 days before your photo walk, no refund will be given, but you may be rescheduled to another photo walk date or credit towards a future photo walk will be given. If you cancel your photo walk less than 2 days before your photo walk, refunds will be at Natalie's discretion.

This is a new session that we are trialling during the October half term and if it goes well, we will run it again in the Christmas holidays. We also have a second route planned so keep an eye out for that!
